Orchid Hotel is a boutique retreat on the shores of an Irish lake, just one hour from Dublin. Surrounded by rolling green hills and quiet forests, the hotel was created as a sanctuary for couples and travelers seeking rest, elegance, and an escape from the rhythm of city life.

When I first started working with Orchid Hotel, the main challenge was that it was attracting budget-conscious guests who didn’t see the real value of the experience. The existing identity didn’t communicate the premium quality of the stay, which made it hard for the hotel to raise its rates and reach the right audience.

Solution

I repositioned the brand as a premium lakeside retreat.

The palette of rich browns and off-whites reinforces this feeling, balancing warmth and elegance, while the repeating orchid motif adds subtle texture and a tactile, premium quality. The verbal identity now tells stories of local dinners, misty mornings, and countryside silence.

I redesigned the website with immersive visuals and elegant copy, and updated every guest touchpoint, welcome cards, menus, in-room details, so the experience feels consistent and premium throughout.
