About
Depetrini is a travel agency based in Mexico, Brazil, and Italy, focused on creating tailored travel experiences across the Mediterranean region, from Italy and Greece to Portugal, Spain, and France. The agency was founded in honor of the owner’s Italian great-grandfather, carrying forward his name as a symbol of heritage and connection.
Depetrini originally operated as a broad tour operator, selling packages to destinations all over the world. This diluted positioning made the agency look like a generalist, and clients didn’t associate it with any particular expertise. The brand failed to express its real strength: curating unique, personalized experiences across the Mediterranean. The challenge was clear, to stop looking like a global reseller and start being seen as a Mediterranean specialist.
Solution
After long conversations, questioning, and research with Exequiel, the owner of Depetrini, I redefined the positioning around one clear promise: Mediterranean expertise.
Every detail of the identity had to communicate this focus, visually, verbally, and emotionally. The logo used a Roman bridge with a rising sun to symbolize connection and discovery.
The color palette drew from Mediterranean tones, deep greens, sunlit yellows, and soft stone neutrals. I also set photography guidelines highlighting Mediterranean landscapes, food, and architecture, so from brochures to the website, every image instantly evoked the region.
